Each piece is hand-sheared, washed, sun-dried, and hand-combed before an artisan ever begins sewing, a process that typically takes six to eight artisans working together over about five days per piece.

How They're Made
On average, six to eight artisans collaborate on each piece, and the process takes about five days from start to finish — shaping molds, sewing the body, shearing and washing the fiber, sun-drying it for one to two days, then hand-combing it to reach its signature softness. No factory ever touches an Inspired Peru piece. Every stitch is traceable to an artisan family in Peru.
