White is the fiber's own natural color. No dye is added — just genuine Suri alpaca fur, hand-shaped by a single artisan into each piece. No two pieces are ever identical.

This design was created by Inspired Peru and is handcrafted within our network of 35+ indigenous Andean artisan families in the Peruvian highlands.

Andean Silk™ describes the long, silky locks that naturally grow in smooth, parallel strands, giving Suri fiber its distinctive drape and sheen. Within our Sensory Collection System, Cloud Touch™ is reserved exclusively for teddy bears, Andean Puff™ identifies our Huacaya-fiber animal designs, and Andean Silk™ identifies our Suri-fiber designs like these.

Because all three pieces are fully natural and undyed, they're naturally lanolin-free. Fill is premium polyester fiberfill, selected for structural resilience and shape retention. Seams are hand-finished and reinforced.

Suri fiber's long, silky locks benefit from slightly different care than our Huacaya pieces. Spot clean gently using a small amount of foam from a mild, fragrance-free soap, keeping the piece as dry as possible. Never machine wash or tumble dry. When drying or restoring shape, smooth the locks gently in their natural direction with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb — never brush against the direction of the locks, and never use a hairdryer or other heat source.

Is this set made from real alpaca fur?
Yes. All three pieces are made from genuine Suri alpaca fur, in its own natural, undyed white tone.

What's the difference between Suri and Huacaya alpaca fur?
Both are genuine alpaca fiber, but they feel very different. Huacaya fiber crimps into a dense, springy loft. Suri fiber grows in long, straight, silky locks with a natural drape and sheen.

Is the color natural or dyed?
Natural. No dyes are used — the coloring comes entirely from the fiber's own pigment.

Does this contain lanolin?
No. As fully natural, undyed pieces, all three are naturally lanolin-free.

What are the eyes made of?
The 16" and 12" pieces use glass safety eyes, hand-set and secured. The 6" piece uses hand-embroidered eyes, with nothing that can detach.

Does each piece come with its own Certificate of Authenticity?
Yes. Each piece ships with its own individual Certificate of Authenticity.
